Hey there, fur-loving friends! As an all-round certified canine behaviourist, I’ve always had a special bond with pups who struggle with being left alone. With great pleasure I can now call myself a SA Pro Trainer and am thrilled to be able to learn from the best and now apply Separation Anxiety training in a very efficient and effective way! I always love learning from other domains other than my own to hone my craft and apply best practices. That’s why I’m so excited to be working with Julie and her team. They know how to think outside of the box – science based, kind and friendly, and with some seriously paw-some protocols, materials, and tech to share. Born in the Netherlands, growing up in South Africa, I now call Utrecht my home where I live with my best friend and 2 furry kids. I used to be a hard-core software engineer, but let’s be real, working with dogs is way more fulfilling. And although I love animals, my love for the 2-legged kind comes in handy, since making a real difference in a pup’s behaviour often depends on their human’s involvement. So, whether you speak Afrikaans, Dutch or English, let’s team up and make life better for you and your furry friend.
I have worked with dogs for over 10 years and I am the founder of the highly respected Nosey Barker Training School. Through my work as a qualified trainer I discovered a passion for supporting dogs and their families with more challenging behaviour which inspired me to set up Behaviour Support by Kim. My ability to support canine and human learners with kindness and sensitivity allows me to really understand the struggles each family are suffering. Working with me means you will receive help with behaviour modification based on the most up to date science using only kind methods. Each plan is carefully designed to improve your dogs behaviour and enhance your bond so that you can enjoy the companionship you once dreamed of. I specialise in separation anxiety for all dogs and small dog generalised anxiety. Separation anxiety is heart breaking for you and your dog but there is hope! I support all dogs to overcome the fear of being left home alone, which enables their family to leave without feeling guilty or worry about their dogs happiness. I have first-hand experience of how debilitating sharing your life with a separation anxiety dog is. Diggory, my poodle, showed signs of separation anxiety from the minute he joined me at 9 weeks old. Following a structured programme I have changed how stressed Diggory was and got back my freedom! I want to help you achieve the same! I am a Certified Canine Behaviourist and take my own continued professional development seriously. Using the latest scientific, ethical methods to ensure you and your dog succeed.
I am a Tampa local trainer with a passion for helping both dogs and people in need. I work with owners and dogs to facilitate a force free foundation for training that encourages a healthy and understanding relationship between pup and parent. I have always had a passion for the pups that need the most help. My goal is to do what I am able to help both pet parents and dogs develop a positive outlook on life while fostering skills that can help them succeed in navigating a our human world. Working through separation anxiety can be challenging, but my hope is to be a supportive guide as we work together to tackle that challenge and see success along the way. I also work with minor reactivity issues, as well as basic skills and social development for puppy’s and adult dogs alike. I am currently certified as both a CPDT-KA and an SAPT. I am constantly working towards furthering my education in the field of ethical dog training, and strive to foster a relationship between dogs and pet parents through fun and force free learning.
Helping dogs and their people through separation anxiety and similar behaviors is a passion of mine because comfortable alone time is often such a relief for both the humans and the dogs. Because I know how hard life can be with difficult dogs, I am also really passionate about working with dogs through puppyhood and adolescence to create stable and resilient adult dogs. I want the dogs that I work with to be enthusiastic and unafraid learners who feel comfortable showing me how they really feel. I am a lifelong learner, and I am dedicated to continuing my education, and staying up to date on the most humane and effective ways to train.
My name is Ina Speksnijder and I live in South Holland, the Netherlands. I am a dog trainer since 2005 and have my own dog school since 2018. Hi, My name is Miranda, a dog lover from the Netherlands, with a genuine interest in people, too. I am a certified behaviourist, specialising in dogs’ emotional well-being, and a certified SA Pro trainer. Thanks to my dog, Pip, I have become somewhat of an expert in dealing with separation anxiety. In fact, it was Pip that inspired me to take up several courses backed by science, including the very comprehensive course offered by Julie Naismith. I like to think that my own experience with Pip’s separation anxiety as well as my own experience as Pip’s owner has put me in a unique position to be able to offer personalised online guidance to fellow dog owners taking their particular circumstances into account. Any guidance I offer is always fear- and pain-free. My training as a canine behaviourist is reinforced by my extensive experience as a coordinator of 170 volunteers as part of my former day job, which has exposed me to many different experiences with many different people from all walks of life. It would be my privilege to take this journey with you, in helping you and your dog! Please feel free to contact me – I will be more than happy to answer any of your questions. Kind regards, Miranda
