Helping dogs and their people through separation anxiety and similar behaviors is a passion of mine because comfortable alone time is often such a relief for both the humans and the dogs. Because I know how hard life can be with difficult dogs, I am also really passionate about working with dogs through puppyhood and adolescence to create stable and resilient adult dogs. I want the dogs that I work with to be enthusiastic and unafraid learners who feel comfortable showing me how they really feel. I am a lifelong learner, and I am dedicated to continuing my education, and staying up to date on the most humane and effective ways to train.

Hi, My name is Miranda, a dog lover from the Netherlands, with a genuine interest in people, too. I am a certified behaviourist, specialising in dogs’ emotional well-being, and a certified SA Pro trainer. Thanks to my dog, Pip, I have become somewhat of an expert in dealing with separation anxiety. In fact, it was Pip that inspired me to take up several courses backed by science, including the very comprehensive course offered by Julie Naismith. I like to think that my own experience with Pip’s separation anxiety as well as my own experience as Pip’s owner has put me in a unique position to be able to offer personalised online guidance to fellow dog owners taking their particular circumstances into account. Any guidance I offer is always fear- and pain-free. My training as a canine behaviourist is reinforced by my extensive experience as a coordinator of 170 volunteers as part of my former day job, which has exposed me to many different experiences with many different people from all walks of life. It would be my privilege to take this journey with you, in helping you and your dog! Please feel free to contact me – I will be more than happy to answer any of your questions. Kind regards, Miranda

Hi, I am Paula – The owner of Paula’s Pet Services (Est.2015) and a graduate of Absolute Dogs Pro Dog Trainer course (AD – PDT), and graduate of Julie Naismith’s Certified Separation Anxiety Trainer Course, (Cert. SAPT) My heart goes out to all of you owners who are struggling with SA. I have worked as a dog walker before dog training and have worked alongside lots of owners to manage SA and enable them an hour or 4 of freedom to nip out and go for meals or go shopping. As a SA Pro Trainer, I would love to help you understand how to help your dog and work towards your independence in managing this for yourselves too. It’s important that you can ask me anything, no question is a stupid question. I want for you to understand the process and trust how it can work for you and your dog. As a force free and fear free trainer, we will work as a team and I’ll be here to support you all the way, in understanding what is going on with your dog and to help them in the best way possible. Separation Anxiety can be a lonely and overwhelming pathway, but you don’t have to do this alone.

Hello! I am a dog behaviourist who works in an animal-friendly way. I have a bachelor’s degree in Animal care and I currently work as a puppy coach at a guide dog school. It’s my job to teach the foster homes how to raise a dog. In addition, I help owners with the behavior problem of their dogs. I have several years of experience as a dog caretaker in an animal shelter. Of course, any dog can get separation anxiety, but it is unfortunately very common in dogs that have been adopted. Many owners and their dogs struggle with this problem and there are still far too few trainers with a good knowledge of separation anxiety. This is one of the reasons why I chose to specialize in this subject. I want to help you and your dog! I believe in this method of dealing with separation anxiety because it is animal-friendly and ensures that your dog experiences as little stress as possible. If you would like my help, feel free to contact me anytime! Greetings Birgit
