Jackie Moyano transitioned careers from a respiratory therapist to dog training. In addition to caring for patients, she also taught both patients and respiratory therapy students. Jackie’s medical teaching experience lends itself well to teaching people how to train their dogs. Pssst! Dog training is really people training! Jackie’s dog training expertise and education comes from completing 3 of Pat Miller’s training academies, attending Ken Ramirez’ Animal Training Seminar at SHEDD Aquarium, attending Sue Sternberg’s Eden Internship working with Alaskan husky sled dogs, plus completing all 5 of the Bailey-Farhoody chicken workshops where Jackie learned animal training science and practiced training skills with chickens. Jackie actively pursues continuing education and recently added a separation anxiety credential, SAPro to her name. Jackie’s training partners are her Siamese cat and her Dachshund Terrier mix.

Stacey is the owner of Focused Fun and is dedicated to using a positive, science-based approach to helping dogs overcome separation-related behaviors. Since she accepts only cases involving separation-related behaviors, she is efficient and well-equipped to partner with you to work through your dog’s unique situation. In addition to the ‘nuts and bolts’ of training, Stacey enjoys coaching clients to ensure they are taking care of themselves and enjoys facilitating the repair of the sometimes strained relationship with their dog.
Shelly is the owner and trainer/behaviourist at Pooch Partners®, a business started a decade ago in beautiful Vernon, British Columbia, Canada. She offers numerous services for private or small group sessions, both in-person, virtually and self-study, using positive concept games-based training to inspire and empower her clients to transform any dog struggle into a success. As a lifetime learner, the SA Pro Trainer certificate is a welcomed addition to her multiple credentials, and she looks forward to continuing to help dog owners live their dreams with their dogs, rather than limit them.
Having started her dog training journey in the shelter world, Sharon decided that she could make the greatest difference in dog’s lives and those of their humans by ensuring that dog’s stayed in their homes. Sharon started Hanging With Hounds in 2013 and works with a wide variety of canine behaviour ranging from puppies – who don’t love puppies – to more complex behaviour such as separation anxiety. Sharon is a multi-certified trainer carrying designations from a number of leading dog training organizations. Her approach is to ‘do no harm’ so all training will be done with the dog’s welfare and those of their people to be front and center in her training approach. Sharon is accredited through the BC SPCA AnimalKind Program, a rigorous program whose mandate is to raise the standard of the dog training industry in British Columbia. Having a special interest in working with dogs suffering from fears and phobias including separation anxiety led Sharon to become a Certified Separation Anxiety Trainer (CSAT) in 2018. Given a desire to stay current and to continue to build knowledge in this challenging area, Sharon pursued further professional development and is proud to add SA Pro Trainer to her list of qualifications. Sharon sees separation anxiety clients from across Canada.
Rosee is the founder and director of Good Dog Practice and Separation Anxiety Dog Training. She has multiple qualifications in canine behaviour. Her holistic approach to behaviour consultation has helped rehabilitate many deprived and traumatised dogs, including solving fear issues. While she loves all breeds, she is a particular advocate for sighthounds and ex-racing greyhounds transitioning to life in a home. Her greyhound, Stevie, suffered from extreme separation anxiety and taught her a lot about what it takes to help dogs work through these specific challenges. Based in Austria, Rosee offers consultations in both English and German and helps people internationally with their dogs suffering from separation anxiety.
Ness Jones started her journey with dog training many years ago thanks to an unruly Rottweiler who came into her life. Three Rottweilers and three Malinois later, she is still immersed in the world of dog training and now helps others with their own dogs. She is incredibly excited and feels extraordinarily blessed to be able to help clients with dogs suffering from Separation Anxiety through her business, Separation Anxiety In Dogs Decoded. She understands how stressful it is not only for the fearful, anxious dog but also their owners who have to put their lives on hold to care for them. She is also one of a handful of Certified Separation Anxiety Pro Behavior Consultants and the only one based in Australia.
