Fear and force free R+ dog training. Animal welfare is paramount to me and is the basis of all my courses. That’s why my focus is on building and maintaining a relationship of trust between you and your dog. By looking at body language and recognizing stress signals, you learn what your dog is trying to tell you and when he needs some extra support, for example. Not only does this help the dog to feel safe in its new environment faster, but its confidence in you will grow and you will lay the foundation for good cooperation. My training method is reward-oriented and dog-friendly, according to the latest scientific insights. Research has shown that positively trained dogs are happier and learn faster. This is also good for the dog’s self-confidence and will make it dare to take (more) initiative.

Trainer from France since 2020, I know what it’s like to have a dog who doesn’t feel safe alone. I’m here to help you and your dog find a new peace with absences !

I’ve been there, and understand the challenges you and your dog are facing. Let me help you get through it.

Hi! Nice to meet you! After having worked for several international companies, I decided to switch careers to do what I love doing most: working with people and dogs! I work as a dog behaviorist and I am a certified SA Pro! Next to that, I’m a canine myofascial release therapist, as I believe body and mind are very much connected. I work science based and want to help out both dogs and people to enjoy life to the fullest, as I believe we should enjoy the time with our dogs as much as we can. I live in a small village in Zeeland, together with my husband, our dog Oscar (my biggest inspiration) and our 2 rabbits: Flip & Mila. In my free time, you will find me in nature :). If you have any questions, feel welcome to contact me!

I’m a SA Pro, dog trainer and behaviour consultant and all round lover of dogs! My holistic approach to dogs speaks volumes to the dog and clients, and I only ever use positive reinforcement and force free techniques. I have 4 rescues of my own and they’ve taught me so much!

My vision is to try and ensure our dogs get to live their lives free from as much stress and anxiety as possible and filled with daily positive experiences. I specialise in reactivity, anxiety and fear and am passionate about supporting both ends of the lead

Hi, I’m Louise – the founder of Canine Friends. A little about me and my experience in dealing with separation anxiety. I have been a dog trainer for many years now and I found it incredibly hard when I realised my own puppy was struggling despite doing everything right and what I’d been told to do simply wasn’t working. So I went on a journey to learn more about it and how best to help her in the most ethical way possible, as there’s very few quality and researched methods out there. I then came across Julie Naismith and the SA Pro method. Having had great success with my own dog, I decided to study to become an SA Pro. Since then, it’s been a passion of mine in helping other owners find that freedom from the SA prison that it can feel like and I’d love to work with you to help you achieve some freedom!
