I run Els K9 Solutions, dog training & behaviour company, in Surrey, UK. I am passionate about helping families with dogs with separation anxiety using kind and effective techniques. I know just how hard it can be having helped my own dog with separation anxiety. As a graduate of Julie Naismith’s Certified Separation Anxiety Pro Trainer course (Cert. SAPT), I am very fortunate to now be able to help other people do the same. My aim is to always give the very best support and guidance every step of the way as I work with people to help their dog’s overcome separation anxiety. I have have a first class honors degree in psychology and have followed my passion for dogs by furthering my study and experience to specialize in dog training and behaviour. I feel very privileged to have helped many dogs and their families to develop a variety of skills with their dogs and support behavioral change using kind and force free methods.
I’m a certified professional dog trainer with a background in dance, academia, acting, and shelter work. My training philosophy begins with do no harm. Using positive reinforcement and training games, I help my clients teach their dogs to live in a human-centered world. I aim to enhance the partnership between dogs and their people by educating people about dog behavior and dog body language, and by using the most effective, science-based training methods.
I have over ten years’ experience providing dog training and behavior modification solutions for clients and students. In addition to separation anxiety, I have experience with fearful dogs, anxiety in dogs, basic foundation behaviors, and more. I know how dogs learn and how the combination of anxiety, history, and environment impacts that learning. I love providing individualized training plans and solutions that work for dogs and for their families. I’m based in the Washington, DC area but I can work online with people in any location.

Hi! I am Caroline, a dog behaviourist from Belgium. Since I struggled myself with solving the SA of my puppy, I know how hard it is to live with a dog struggling to be left alone. I decided to become a SA pro trainer to be able to help other people overcome seperation anxiety of their dogs. Besides separation anxiety, I also help with other behavioural issues such as anxiety related problems, aggression, reactivity and problems between dogs and small children.
