Kaia Wilson is a Certified Professional Dog Trainer, CPDT-KA, Certified SA Pro Behavior Consultant, and FDM (Family Dog Mediator) who has been working with dogs professionally since 2013. Kaia’s mission is to provide dog guardians with a clear understanding of how dogs learn, how to read dog body language, and insights into their dogs motivations and needs. From that comprehensive awareness she then teaches techniques and protocols for effecting positive behavior change using evidence based, compassion-centered methods. She values a cooperative and engaging working relationship, and always aims to make the training fun for human and canine alike! She has special affinity for working with Separation Anxiety clients and their dogs, as well as for all dogs who struggle with fear/anxiety who need extra compassion and guidance. Alongside dog training, Kaia is also a lifelong musician. She is still active in with her band that started in 1993, Team Dresch, who were inducted into the Oregon Music Hall of Fame in 2023. In her free time she loves to spend time with and enrich her own 2 dog’s lives, draw, be in nature, cook vegetarian food, play ping pong and spend time with her human loved ones.
