Hello! I am a French dog consultant, specialized in Separation Anxiety issues. I have been severely bitten by a dog when I was a child and went on desensitization myself to be able to interact with animals again. I am passionate about the way they communicate with their body language, very useful to help with SA! I also love helping humans and would be really happy to guide you through your SA journey. I live in Tours (France) with my lovely corgi Moka. I am able to help you remotely, wherever you are in the world!
Althea is a CCPDT Certified Dog Trainer (CPDT-KA) and a Certified SA Pro trainer (SAPT). She has completed the Aggression in Dogs Master Course. Althea brings over a decade of experience and has transformed dogs’ lives in a shelter setting, group classes, in 1:1 in-person dog training and through online coaching. Reach out to Althea to get the expert support you deserve for separation anxiety as well as fear, reactivity, aggression and other training needs. You’ll be supported with science-backed methods and an emphasis on joy.
Hey there, fur-loving friends! As an all-round certified canine behaviourist, I’ve always had a special bond with pups who struggle with being left alone. With great pleasure I can now call myself a SA Pro Trainer and am thrilled to be able to learn from the best and now apply Separation Anxiety training in a very efficient and effective way! I always love learning from other domains other than my own to hone my craft and apply best practices. That’s why I’m so excited to be working with Julie and her team. They know how to think outside of the box – science based, kind and friendly, and with some seriously paw-some protocols, materials, and tech to share. Born in the Netherlands, growing up in South Africa, I now call Utrecht my home where I live with my best friend and 2 furry kids. I used to be a hard-core software engineer, but let’s be real, working with dogs is way more fulfilling. And although I love animals, my love for the 2-legged kind comes in handy, since making a real difference in a pup’s behaviour often depends on their human’s involvement. So, whether you speak Afrikaans, Dutch or English, let’s team up and make life better for you and your furry friend.
I aim to meet the needs of clients wherever they may be and whatever their circumstances may dictate. You can opt for face-to-face training sessions or distance-learning Zoom calls. Either way, you will be given a one-to-one training session that will meet you and your dog’s needs. I only offer one-to-one training so that I can focus on the individual needs of you and your dog. You will see results faster and learn the tools you need to live a happier and more relaxed life together.

Hello! I am a dog behaviourist who works in an animal-friendly way. I have a bachelor’s degree in Animal care and I currently work as a puppy coach at a guide dog school. It’s my job to teach the foster homes how to raise a dog. In addition, I help owners with the behavior problem of their dogs. I have several years of experience as a dog caretaker in an animal shelter. Of course, any dog can get separation anxiety, but it is unfortunately very common in dogs that have been adopted. Many owners and their dogs struggle with this problem and there are still far too few trainers with a good knowledge of separation anxiety. This is one of the reasons why I chose to specialize in this subject. I want to help you and your dog! I believe in this method of dealing with separation anxiety because it is animal-friendly and ensures that your dog experiences as little stress as possible. If you would like my help, feel free to contact me anytime! Greetings Birgit
