Jamie has been operating CNDR since 2017 which started out as an in-home boarding and walk business, but quickly turned into the training business that it is today after she adopted her dog, Carter. Carter came to them when he was over one year old and had deep-seated fear toward people, dogs, and handling. He is the spark that lit the fire for her passion for canine behaviour. She has completed certificates in Canine Reactivity, Canine Fear, is St. John’s Pet First Aid Certified, Karen Pryor Academy Dog Trainer Comprehensive Program, holds her CPDT-KA certification, is a Fear-Free Certified Trainer, and SA Pro Trainer. Jamie focuses on helping owners learn to better understand their fearful and anxious dogs, build confidence and trust, and create new and fun experiences with their dogs using patient, force-free, and rewards-based training practices. She runs all things CNDR, from booking clients, and creating programs, to running the social media and web pages, to hosting and editing the podcast!
Hannah started her dog training career at a busy, open-admission animal shelter, where she helped fearful and anxious dogs cope with their bewildering surroundings and make it through the shelter system to new, loving homes. Now, she does her best to keep dogs from entering the shelter system in the first place by providing life-changing training to them and their families, helping them stay together. Hannah has worked with dogs of all ages, breeds, and temperaments, but anxious dogs hold a special place in her heart, having lived with several of her own. She loves to watch these dogs blossom as they progress through training and learn that the world isn’t as scary as they first feared! Hannah is an honor graduate from The Academy for Dog Trainers, a Certified Professional Dog Trainer – Knowledge Assessed, and a member of the Pet Professional Guild, an organization committed to force-free training. She has seen the incredible impact that kind, science-based training can have on the lives of dogs and their guardians and she is so excited to share her skills and knowledge with whoever needs it.

Toward the end of my career as a science teacher, I began studying to turn my lifelong doggy hobby into a new career. I qualified as a franchised Puppy School tutor, a Certified Trick Dog Instructor (CTDI), a scent dog tutor, and also as a Certified Animal Behaviourist (CAB). I then decided to specialise in the issue of separation anxiety due to the real suffering it can cause in both dogs and their owners. The SA Pro training has given me the tools to really help dogs get over their home-alone issues. Although currently based in Oxfordshire, I am a northerner with a straightforward attitude and a positive belief that with the right tools we can make a big difference. Before learning about this method, I found separation anxiety cases difficult, but now am pleased and excited about the difference that is made using this clever technique.
I have been training and rehabilitating dogs (and their owners!) for 12 years, and now specialise in treating dogs with separation related disorders. I won Dog Trainer of the Year 2020 with the London Prestige Awards and have featured in The Telegraph and write monthly for Animal Talk, a national magazine in South Africa to help promote reward-based methods.
